I had some fun posting some Domestic deals on Monday, and figured why not do the same with with American Airlines tonight on some international airfares to the Caribbean.

The screen shot above taken at midnight (Central) on Thursday August 16th, shows that American is not promoting any fare sales to the Caribbean.

This is because they filed these a few hours ago and won’t be loaded until well after midnight, or more likely they couldn’t be bothered to notify the web team …

At 8pm tonight (Thursday 16-Aug) they filed an international airfare sale from the U.S. to the Caribbean (they did have one a while back, that ended today), so this probably should be considered an extension, sort of, since they removed the old sale (forcing the prices up) and then filed the new one.

The airfares are booked in “O” (oh) class, which is the most restricted seat inventory (least amount of seats), but there will be some seats.

Travel appears to be on most routes through mid December.

On the FareCompare.com site, you can research the days by entering the city pair (codes or name) and using “Research Mode” to see the calendar.

Bummer I still am looking for that sale fare to St. Thomas from Dallas for my parents - Its about the only destination not in the list…
